theme of project: The bench of Athens. (2010)

The proposal concept "Athens bench act" was a combination of seat and squat. A bench in "action" which is transformed to serve the need of passersby and adapts to any user. So as its functionality is aimed at serving different usage patterns (sitting, squat, bench) and different relationships of the users (at an angle opposite back). As for it urban use in the city, enables variations of stands depending on the needs of users throughout the day. it is comfortable for the user that makes a short stop while a small group of people can use the bench fully developed.
